Ingredients:
01. Beef (Mince)                     500gm
02. Split Bengal Gram             2tbs
03. Onion (Chopped)              1pcs Large
04. Garam Masala Powder     1ts
05. Green cardamoms             2pcs
06. Cinnamon                          2 inch stick
07. Cloves                               3pcs
08. Garlic (Chopped)              1bs
09. Ginger (Chopped)             1ts
10. Black Peppercorns            5/6pcs
11. Red Chilli Powder              1ts
12. Cumin Powder                   ½ts
13. Egg (Beaten)                     1Nos
14. Coriander Powder              ½ts
15. Lemon Juice        1ts
16. Coriander leaves (Chopped)    Few Sprigs
17. Mint leaves (Chopped)             Few Sprigs
18. Ghee                                        For Shallow Fry
19. Salt                                         To test

Method:

  • Wash the Beef mince nicely and drain.
  • Then wash and soak the Split Bengal gram for 30 minutes.
  • To the mince, add the Split Bengal gram, cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves, one cup of warm water, salt (to taste) and then cook till dry.
  • Remove from heat and add chopped garlic, red chilli powder, chopped ginger, garam masalas powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and peppercorns.
  • Grind to a fine paste and knead nicely.
  • For stuffing mix together chopped onion, coriander leaves, mint leaves, lemon juice and salt.
  • Divide the beef mixture into lemon-sized balls, flatten each ball in the palm of your hand and stuff with a little of the onion mixture.
  • Now shape into kababs and dip into beaten eggs.
  • Then heat a saucepa and shallow fry the kababs on both sides with ghee till golden color.
  • After drain it will ready to serve.
